Tessa is a beautiful lab mix puppy. She plays well with
the male dogs in her foster home, but would really love
to be the only female. When she has her time out of her
pen, she loves to run around and investigate everything.
Her favorite thing is the bathtub, she loves the water
and of course the water sprinkler.
Tessa is very shy at first, but once she gets use to
you, she is a wonderful girl. When we tried to take her
picture, she thought we were playing, so she made that
very difficult. We don't know how she will do around
children, she is not a hands-on kind of girl, she will
put up with some cuddling, but not a lot. Tessa would
rather run and play with the other dogs.
Tessa is very mischievous and is always getting into
places where she does not belong. If you leave your
gloves or tools out, she will find them and take off
with them and then stand back and watch you hunt for
them. She loves to play catch, and can run for hours.
Tessa is a great little hunter, she has caught several
field mice and a really large snake. She enjoys carrying
them around and tossing them in the air.
Tessa was GAP tested, but didn't really have time for
it. She was more interested in playing tag and chasing
the ball. She would love to have a male companion to
spend time with and take long walks with.
Tessa has been spayed, micro-chipped and is up to date
on all of her vaccinations. She has been started on her
heart worm preventative.
