Kelly is a medium sized, silky haired teenager who sheds very little.  Having herder blood in her mix, she really enjoys playing outside and running races with her foster friends.  The Canaan breed is very heat tolerant and perfectly suited for hot Texas summers.  Inside she is a calm, well-behaved girl who loves to be petted and cuddled.  Talk to her and she will grin and her eyes will sparkle!  She is housetrained, obeys her Sit and Stay commands and is very protective of her family.  She is the first to warn her foster mom of strange cars or noises.  As a puppy she had a bad experience with a leash so will need continued “gentle” leash training to lose her fear of choking.  She would be a great family companion with kids and/or another dog to play with.

She is up to date on vaccinations, microchipped and spayed.
