I am a little macho man and guard my brothers and foster
Mom! I bark at strange noises and cars to warn my Mom so
nothing hurts her but will stop when she says "It's OK".
Then I get hugs and kisses-I love that!There are 6
other dogs in my foster hoe with me and we play and
play! I especially like the 2 big dogs because I can
climb all over them and they are teaching me good doggie
behavior. Little kids are fun too, because they like to
play like I do. My Mom's big old cat is boring, so I
just leave her alone.
I like to cuddle with my Mom because she hugs and
brushes me and I get to give her kisses. I don't stay in
her lap very long because I want to get down and run
around and play with everyone.
I am spending a lot of time inside right now so I can
learn house manners. I never go potty anywhere except on
the newspapers put down for me. I can make it through
the night without wetting but make a mad dash for
the yard as soon as the door is opened. My Mom thinks
I'm so funny because I wet and wet and wet. But I've
been holding it a long time! I am learning to "Sit" and
walk on a leash.
It is my nature to work, so I stay busy all the time.
I check out everything new in the yard and house,
especially Wal-Mart bags. They hold new toys!
I would be happiest if I had another dog to share my
home and fenced yard. I am very smart, learn fast and
can be trained to do anything to make you proud of me.
Butch has been neutered and
micro-chipped. He is current on his vaccinations
and is on heartworm preventative. His adoption fee
